Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 44

Hi today's card is based on the Waltzingmouse sketch challenge 44. Well because I am a big idiot I didn't notice the emboss! on the sketch when I looked it up to start my card. So my take is a little "off". I offer my apologies now. Just imagine some lovely embossing below the ribbon. Sheesh.

Anyway I have this card to offer up. It uses labels 14 and Spring Baskets and Basket Additions. I used some unknown patterned paper (if I had to guess I would say Doodlebug), kraft cardstock, dark chocolate ribbon and button, twine, and spellbinders dies. The flowers and basket are colored with my copics.

  1. This is amazing Michele...with or without the embossing. Did you color the basket, because it looks like it's woven...either way, this is a beautiful card. Happy Easter to you and your family.

  2. That basket coloring is amazing! It really looks like wood! The daffodils are so beautiful, too. Love the little button-tied sentiment!

  3. Just gorgeous Michele! And lucky for you (and me) I have a very vivid imagination. I think the way you embossed your card is very creative...subtle, yes, but creative still. ;-) . I adore the Kraft and the yellow together. I think it is one of my fave color combos for sure and on your pretty card it definitely conveys that spring has certainly sprung. And how did you manage to hand weave that weeny basket? It looks so authentically woven, my word it does. Just amazing. Thanks for bringing a springy smile to my face. :-D
