Friday is my "Waltzingmouse Makers" blog day!
This is for my husband's birthday. I always make multiple cards for him. One from me and others for other folks in the family to give him. Can you tell this one will be from me?
He loves bold, bright, and modern. But I wanted to use this vintage heart from Seasons of Love. I think combining the two works. My layout is inspired from one that Laurie Schmidlin used for this same set. You can see her card here.
The heart is embossed and adhered with dimensionals. The oval in the center was cut out and is also popped up. Lots of dimension on this one. Good thing it isn't being mailed!
Size of Card: 4.5" square
Mood when Done: Still in love with my honey
Supplies:
Stamps: Waltzingmouse Seasons of Love
Ink: Stampin Up Classic Brocade Blue and Real Red; Veramark
Cardstock: Stampin Up Brocade Blue, Real Red and random white
Other: Heart Nestability die (don't you love the way the stamp coordinates?), white embossing powder, red button and embroidery floss; dimensionals; red bling
Still No Success
