Peace, Baby!

Peace signs and other '70s trends are popping back up nowadays. If you have a school-age child, you've probably seen this familiar symbol around lately :) .

Here's my 9-year-old's (!) birthday card:

Her card just had to have the peace symbol, in her favorite color, green; so I made one to coordinate with Claire's wonderful applique images.  I used a circle from Nestabilities to cut it out and Copic multiliner to add the stitching.  It's also outlined with Sakura glitter pen.

The card base is Papertrey Ink Hawaiian Shores with coordinating ribbon.  The images were stamped randomly and then colored with Copics, and rhinestones in various colors and sizes added.  The little tag is made with Nestabilities and attached with embroidery floss.

Peace!
